What are the implications of such a large piece of ice break off from Antarctica?

It may mean its time to turn the heating down a bit! The ice shelf it broke off of is a floating one, so it will not affect sea level, but it may be an indication that climate change is really biting down south. Perhaps its time for kyoto to be enforced.
