I didn't understand last nights episode. After Sally had the phone call saying her cancer had returned, Sophie and Rosie came in and appeared to have the details of the call on their phone. Also what was that about Sally calling the caller back and having a multiple conversation with her.
Anyone watched it and can explain please.
She was probably jealous that Sally had more input to the radio interview than she had. In that interview Sally mentioned details of her cancer journey.
I think you're right, hc. Emmerdale in particular is only about 22 minutes long if you take out the ads. I'd love to know what the fee is for writing one episode.
It sounded like Jenny, but just wonder who it was giggling with her at the end of the call. Jenny doesn't appear to have any acquaintances who would do such a thing.
The length of breaks on commercial channels is governed by law which is why so many programmes advertise within the show by highlighting a competition before each break, often to win a holiday with Joe Bloggs travel company. I find that incredibly annoying.
On reflection it is probably bad editing in Corrie.
