Is it me or do trade unions only seem to go on strike now when its a bank holiday (usually the underground/railways), summer (baggage handlers at airports) or in this case whilst the football is on (asdas).

The lecturers finally got a decent increase by threatening action on exam papers - Strangely they didn't threaten to strike over the Christmas break so as to minimise the impact - can't imagine why
