Squeaky Handles

I treated myself to a nice new leather handbag but it is driving me up the wall! The handles are attached to the bag by D shaped rings and the handles squeak! How can I fix this? TIA

WD 40 has hundreds of uses, maybe a spot applied with a cotton bud or piece of wire dipped in it, between the ring and the leather.

Last but not least - Baby Oil !! Used this on the boots for my daughters marching band several years ago, worked wonders.
