How Do You Eat??
32 Answers
I noticed ages ago how differently people eat their meals. Main meals generally. Take Mr Smow and I for example . He does the same thing EVERY meal time. Take a roast dinner for example. He will eat all the veg first. Then the potatoes and yorkies if any. Then all that will be left is the meat.which he eats last. His logic is he eats the least favourite things first and leaves the best till last - even though it's going cold lol.
I'm completely different. I put a little bit of everything on each forkful, so I'll have a tiny bit of veg, potato, and meat in each mouthful. I just assumed everyone ate like me but clearly not.

This also means that other dinner guests aren't fidgeting for pudding and wishing I'd get a move on.....
Eating out as a child my father made us leave a little on the plate so we didn't come across as hungry and underfed at home.... :-)

I'm not and never have been a fussy eater, have always eaten and enjoyed everything put in front of me. I've never had to be told to eat everything on my plate as I always ate everything anyway, and usually asked for more. Standing joke in the family was that as a child I ate as much as my dad but looked as if I was half starved.
I've never thought about how I eat, probably a bit of everything on the fork. Although I really relish food, I'm quite a slow eater whereas my other half eats really quickly, a throw back to school days apparently when if you weren't quick you did without.
