bill payment with another persons account

can you put an electricty account into any name and what info do you need to give to have the name on the bill.

also can you then pay the bill from a bank account that doesn't match the name on the bill? or must it be from the person named?

In answer to your second question, anyone can pay any bill.

Don't know to the first.
i suppose you could give any name, when i moved into my home i just rung them up and gave them my name, they didnt check it... as for paying bills... my sister pays her bills eg. gas electric, tv, water, through my account using direct debit, as she didnt have an account at the time,they may ring that person to check it is ok, but they do allow it..
