I've just watched this week's episode on "catch up" and I'm amazed at how stupid/gullible these women can be that they part with tens of thousands of pounds to blokes on dating sites - I know that men are often duped, too.

I'm not a "hard" person, but I have no sympathy for someone who can be so stupid??!!

I totally agree. Although 99% of people knew about the Nigerian messages ages ago it still works as they haven't stopped doing it. How this scam differs at all is barely, yet people fall for it constantly despite having a known and obvious formula. No sympathy at all for grown adults behaving like young children.
