Does anyone know what has happened to Gromit? I have checked and his last appearance was on the 5th March.

Eccles...I wasn't aware that he did. I haven't noticed any flagging up early morning spam to anybody.

But I am not really interested whether Boaty, or anyone else is a MOD or not.

There are many Mods who are open about the fact, quite how a regular visitor is unaware is a mystery to me.

Perhaps Gromit has become disillusioned with AB, as postings suggest that others have, and is laying 'dormant' until things improve.

At present I see AB as a site which has been taken over by long time serving members; some of whom are jack/jill of all trades but masters/mistresses of none. How often do we see replies along the lines of ......'I don't know the answer but feel sure that someone does'.
