noooooooo ta !
I would if I wasn't so creaky and needed a comfy bed. And loo. And bathroom.
I might have done this forty years ago. Not now though.
judging by the spotted tent and wine bottle it looks as if gness has already given it a go

My wife was a Brownies leader , she used to take the Brownie pack on camping holidays but the 'tent' was a church hall , this sounds similar.
It had a lot of advantages no leaking tent , proper toilets and a kitchen. The church used to rent out the hall for less than it would have cost to rent pitches on a normal camp site.
Spot on, Ael....local to me so I know where the good pubs are too.... :-)

The accuracy of the whole article is possibly called into some doubt by the phrase "the ancient village of Thrapston" ...

... it's a nice enough place, but I'd tend to call it "the slightly scruffy small town just off the A14" ...
what a fabulous idea
Thrapston sound nice though.
Mmmm.....far from a village, Tilly.....a small town.....one uninspiring road through...but a super little theatre.....x
Rather expensive for what it is...£39pp...PLUS for bedding?
No thanks.
I want comfort on my holidays now. Not a creepy crypt.
I think a creepy crypt could be quite atmospheric...but I'd want a big, soft and cosy bed.
Thrapston may be an ancient village (*laughs* a lot) but to me it's the location of a toilet on my route from Peterborough to the Midlands. At my age, you get to know the location and cleanliness of every toilet going............
A lady who has her priorities right :-)
Pubs have toilets you know.
Thrapston is worth visiting just for the lovely fish and chip restaurant there!
Any decent pubs though, Chris ?.
