Really couldn't believe this today. Contestants on the first round to answer a question naming words ending with the letters IBE. The first contestant hesitated & then came up with "Bible". What!!!

I think her wife actually said 'enscribe' but was prompted to say 'inscribe' which scored 12 points

I'm sure it's been said on numerous occasions - it's ok answering questions from the comfort of your armchair as opposed to being in a studio with cameras and lights pointing at you .
It's not that most people don't know the answer , it's just that people often have a blank trying to recall the answer , as said due to the surroundings

They said that they would not allow mistranscribe, yet when I am transcribing parish records for an online genealogy site it happens all the time.
