Can anyone provide the exact quotation the essence of which is 'nobody loves Wales as much as the London Welshman, just as long as he doesn't have to live in Wales'?
Never heard it before, but it occurs to me that it is easier to love a fantasy picture of something than cope with the realities of it. Do there may be some truth in such a statement. Maybe why all those so called American Irish are so keen to associate with their family's roots there.
