Jo....my constituency of Gower will be much talked about after the Polls close on Thursday night, as it has a current Tory majority of just 27, in a seat that was Labour for over 100 years !

Electoral Calculus has been predicting this seat to stay Tory for the a few weeks, but now, since a week ago, its saying that it will be a Labour gain !

It all depends on what will happen to the 4,773 2015 UKIP votes.

Anne....I have studied the figures in Gower, for the last 2 years, an so have the local Labour Party, in great detail.

We don't know this for sure, but it looks as if the some of the 4,773 UKIP votes, at least, probably came from Labour, especially when you contrast the paltry 652 votes that UKIP got in 2010.

So, it may be wishful thinking but it should take too many UKIP votes to return to Labour.

EC has it quite close.....41.4% to the Tories, with 44% to Labour. Currently, only 1.5% is predicted for UKIP.

So, nothing seems certain yet...fingers crossed ?
