It's certainly possible but exactly how you do it will depend upon what type of output sockets there are on your PC and what type of inputs your TV supports.
Many PCs have a socket marked S-Video but this is frequently just an input (rather than output) socket. On most PCs the only form of video output is from the monitor socket. The signal from this socket isn't directly compatible with TV inputs so you need something like this:

The output from that device is by S-Video or composite video. So, as long as your TV has got either an S-Video input socket or the phono type sockets which are used for composite video, it would work. (If your TV hasn't got those sockets you'd have to buy a convertor lead to go between the device and your TV).
