Parliament will need to ratify the treaty, sure, but if they don't we will not stay in the EU by default - we'll be a third country on WTO trading rules.
Of course, I imagine 3T probably disagrees with me that the sidelining of parliament throughout this whole decision is a bad thing for the UK and rather undermines the promise of sovereignty in the first place. But that's another issue.

Having implemented Article 50 of the Lisbon treaty there is No way back. Cheers I say.
We are coming out of the EU whatever the Remoaners may think. If the UK now decided that it wished to remain in the EU, it would involve agreement being reached on terms to remain and they could be even tougher than those for a so called 'hard Brexit'.
Hans.

/// The only way he can influence the BREXIT negotiations is by re-joining the Tory Party, and I can't see that happening....can you ? ///
Who knows stranger things have happened in politics, just look at how Labour's fortunes have changed?
Now if May gets the boot over Europe and a more pro BREXIT party emerges, they may require the help of our Nigel and his followers.
Or disillusioned Labour BREXITS could revitalise the UKIP party, thus illuminating Labour's slim chance of attaining power.
