AOG....we have heard it all before...he has never managed to get a seat at Westminster, despite trying 5/6 times, over the last 10 years.

He nearly did in Thanet South, of course, but Tory sharp practice helped to defeat him.

The only way he could ever get in the HOC is if the Tories allowed him back into the Party, something that they will never do.
Union Jack shoes , definitely a positive for brexit !!! He looks like a clown ;-)
Farage has had more comebacks than Frank Sinatra.
Anne....I have just noticed the Union Flag shoes !
Scooping; //There were malcontents about the EU for 40 years and nothing happened. //

This is absolutely true, people forget that hostility to Europe isn't a new phenomenon, Britain has always had large support for leaving Europe. During Mrs Thatcher's premiership Ipsos Mori made regular polls of support for leaving Europe, in 1991 the figure stood at 65% wanting out.
I'd welcome him back.
Scoff all you like Mickey and Anne, but he achieved his aim in life?

Have you?
Jammy....welcome him back where ?

If he eventually gets a Westminster seat, then he will have my congratulations as well !
Why do you think he needs a Westminster seat?

He achieved his aim without it and the party he led polled 4m votes.
Wherever he turns up mickey.
YMB....that was yesterdays news, or rather last years news. We are in the unsteady and uncertain hands of Mrs May and the Tory Party now. I am not sure how Farage is going to effect what they are doing at the moment.
Mikey, change the record. Seats at Westminster are not the only measure of political success. Farage is the first politician since Cromwell to achieve his ultimate aim. Why do you refuse to acknowledge his achievements?
I have acknowledged that Farage was an important part of the decision to vote LEAVE, and I have done that many times on here.

But that was a long time ago....what role does he see himself fulfilling now, when he "returns" ?

The only way he can influence the BREXIT negotiations is by re-joining the Tory Party, and I can't see that happening....can you ?
UKIP lost support because Leavers felt that they had achieved their aim. Should there be signs of a fudge on Brexit then they will band together again and this time they will be very, very angry.
Jourdaine....being very, very angry won't transfer into votes and seats at Westminster.

Jourdain, it will be a lot more than UKIP Supporters that will be very very angry.
"I Shall Return, Says Nigel Farage."

It's pitying, shameful, needy and embarrassing.

This just smacks of too much effort and i'm half expecting him to break out into song using !I will be back" over gloria gaynors "I will survive!
You may be right about Civil war TTT....unless of course Strictly or BGT is on the telly!!
Farage loves being the centre of attraction. Now that he no longer features on every news bulletin, I think he feels left out.

Still, there is always his DJ job to fall back on, when he loses his part-time job in Brussels !
Mikey, he did what he did without a seat at Westminster, so watch that space. Scary times ahead, eh? ;o)
