my friend has a very bloated stomach
when he eats after a few hours
he vomits it all up
some days the stomach
is more bloated
been to doc
would not tell him
until scan
any ideas

It could be a number of things Im sure. Hes better off waiting until he has his scan rather than reading all sorts of 'could bes' on the internet.
In the meantime perhaps listing what he eats day to day could show a possible pattern if its a food intolerance.

I echo redcrx's comments - repeated vomiting is quite serious as a symptom, though it doesn't mean necessarily it's a serious condition; all the same, with symptoms such as you describe, it's best just to wait for the diagnosis. I trust he's keeping himself sufficiently hydrated, and best of luck to him.
