Help i have a ford escort 1.6 LX and i have lost the code to the radio, the radio is a 6000 rs cd i think, i dont know the serial code. The radio has been in the car since new. Thanks.

just take it to your local garage there are plenty around that stick the radio on a computer and get the code for you mine cost a tenner to get the code for a mondeo radio

You would really need the code, to remove the radio to get this code, all you need is a pair of U shaped pins, these cost a couple of pound in Halfords - once you have this serial (probably M followed by six digits), im sure theres a few people on here could give you the code,
