My Photo Gallery Is Missing From My Laptop.....

I have 1000s in my gallery, all in small frames, where I can select, edit etc, and usually find it on the start up menu, click on the blue shell bottom left, and I click on P/Gallery in a menu near the top the top left,

P/gallery is there, but when I click on it, all I get is a small list of old photos, not from gallery.

I am on Win8.1, Google Chrome. Thanks

Unsure what has happened, but can you use Windows explorer to search for your photo directory and ensure all is well ?
