Haunted House

I'm beginning to think this house is becoming haunted.

Over the past few weeks, things have been vanishing, never to be seen again.
Salt cellar, sugar bowl and the like.

Last night was interesting.

Mr Alba and I in living room watching a film, the younger ones upstairs either on FB or playing a game.

Fridge door banged against wall dividing kitchen from living room.
No-one had been near the fridge for a few hours.

Don't think I would have gone near it either .my turn tomorrow looking behind that halogen .

The only spooky thing that has happened to me, we were having a BBQ and suddenly a horrible sense of doom came over me. I couldn't shake it. Got a knock on the door later that evening telling me my aunt had been killed in a motorbike accident.

we once had a tv that would change channel all by itself.

Talby, that IS spooky.

Nailit, there was a frequent poster on here some years back who joined a paranoraml group, can't remember her name now, will go and do a bit of digging.

ummm, that's awful, the feeling of doom is a hard one to shake off.

It's like a sixth sense. You know something bad has happened.

It's not the only time it's happened to me.

the one time Mr Alba experienced it, it was more a premonition, a light aircraft crashing in the hills. 2 days later, one did and then the feeling of 'doom' lifted.

I had an odd experience about 15 years ago. My mother in law was seriously ill in hospital (end of life care), my husband had gone to the hospital with his father. I was in the garden just wondering round and dead heading stuff. I stood up and clear as day I saw my mother in law's sister in the field. Now this wasnt possible because Aunty Jen had died 3 years earlier. Anyway, I brushed it off as a mental abberation.

Hubby got home from hospital and said "I think Dad is losing it. He told me that Aunty Jen walked in today and sat in her chair".

At that point, my blood did run cold.

I chat occasionally to my dad and brother (both deceased) and a few others too.
When I go out I often see a small white feather on the ground, just the one.
I am convinced the one I've spoken to has heard me.

Some may poo-poo it, but if it brings comfort, then I'm all for it.
