Sould There Be A Warning
before filling up at the pumps, I sorted out a friends car that was filled up with derv, it was a complete lack of concentration before he realised his error, should there be a warning "TONE" at the pump before fuel starts to flow?

mis-fuel cars - a cheap transponder near the fuel filler on the car and a switch in the pump isn't rocket science - the pump bit is probably mostly already done - for many decades they have been equipped with a sensor that cuts it off when the car is full.
