We will be in London next month and my wife would love to go on The London Eye. Only problem is her slight claustrophobia. She as asked me to find out the maximum number of people in each capsule, if we are in a lift that gets packed we have to exit it. Can anyone who has been help me out.

You and your wife might also enjoy the cable car trip across the Thames:

It's not at all claustrophobic and can be combined easily with a visit to the wonderful Museum of London Docklands:

you certainly won't get claustrophobia on the cable car; it'll be a miracle if there's anyone else on it at all. But don't bother trying if there's much wind about, it closes down. It has a nice view upstream of the Canary Wharf towers, best in the morning with the sun (if any) gleaming on them, and you can see the Olympic park in the distance; downstream you see the Thames Barrier but not a whole lot else.
Sorry to have been the bearer of wrong info, I was sure it had, he's definitely avoided something with a glass floor! He claims that it was because the glass went all the way down to the floor. Do enjoy it, I loved it, on my own, like Billy-no-mates, then went round again with his ticket! It had been my birthday gift from one of our daughters. The views are amazing and because it moves so slowly you can pick out lots of places.
