I Have To Chuckle

or I swear I would burst into tears.
To explain..
Latest development in Mr F's condition is attempted nocturnal wandering. (He can't get far because of the loss of his leg and enforced wheelchair use, he has lost so much body tone and weight that the prosthetic leg no longer fits.)
Anyway, for a few nights now he has started to want to get up from about midnight onward. I hit on the idea that if I made the room dark enough by drawing the blackout curtains, and telling him if they ARE drawn, then it was still night time.
Did it work?
Yes it did, only too well.
We both slept thro' until after 9.30 this morning!
(Makes a mental note to set an alarm for self) :)
Thanks for reading.

One of the first things to go was his logic, oh, and his road sense.
It was our 44th wedding anniversary yesterday, I had no expectations so it didn't upset me that it went by the board.
I do write on a wipe off board every day for him, but I'm not sure it stays more than a few seconds after reading. Poor man :(
Jellies and yogurts going down well, so managing to re hydrate a little too. Not tried the Guinness slushy yet tho :)
