How there is no outcry on AB about streets being shut down for this - yet just the other week they were on here complaining about Pride shutting down the streets!
I wonder why?

Try looking up VEL as opposed to Road Tax.
EVERY taxpayer contributes to the upkeep of the UK's roads, so when people get their facts right they can stop making inaccurate accusations and observations.

Yes ummmm, YOU know this however your assumption that most on this site know it is obviously wrong, otherwise we wouldn't have so many still making incorrect accusations about cyclists 'not paying road tax', would we?
I'm just trying to ensure that cyclists don't get derided as a result of ignorance and all ABers contributing to the thread are furnished with facts, not myths.

I wasn't home for this but as the 100 mile cycle track goes past my house, I would certainly have moaned about it.
