Funky Feeling

What makes you feel *funky*?
Spent a few hours with my son today just mooching around town together, bought a few bits and pieces. Just nice to spend a bit of time together...it doesn't happen very often nowadays.
Now, Ive had a few drinks and that makes me feel a bit *funky* as well....
Different kind of *funky* though!.
One kind is knowing that your existence means something to someone else. The other is knowing that its all carp in the long run, .....

It's the funky bit I don't get, I feel funky if I do a silly dance to music as I leave the room with dirty plates for the kitchen. I'm sure I look silly not funky though. Do you mean what gives you a lift?

Funky difficult word. It can mean, having an unsophisticated or old-fashioned charm, quaint or unpretentious. Or unconventional or eccentric, offbeat or odd. It can also have unpleasant connotations if you like, but I doubt Nails was meaning anything like that. Hope you had a great afternoon Nails, nice to chill now and again. A pint with you "lad" is a God given pleasure. :))
