Minus the harpoons and the arrows which would be on the hold, do i need to give the airport notice that i have these items as i don't want to have my headphones on whist carrying them oblivious to panic around me obviously.

//// They're very expensive items which i don't want damaged or stolen! WHat's hard to understand? ////
..... What's hard to understand is the fact that this wasn't clarified.
The way your post is worded, you make it seem like you'll be brandishing them out in the open, which would obviously cause panic.
IF they were to be allowed on (which I very much doubt) and you were to carry them on in opaque bags, so passengers were unaware of them, then I couldn't really see a panic ensuing ;)

"you make it seem like you'll be brandishing them out in the open"

Isn't it obvious that wasn't the case? Come on now.
Maybe "brandishing" was a wrong choice of words, but you stated in your original post, " i don't want to have my headphones on whist carrying them oblivious to panic around me obviously."

If you're obviously going to be causing panic, then it's fairly obvious they're going to be out on show for everyone to see??

Yes you're right, my question does initially give that visual so sorry for not being too clear.
Just glad that we cleared up that you wouldn't be brandishing them around like a madman lol :)

I'm sure that you can hire a 1943 pattern Sten gun in Oz, and ammo is cheap over there, so if ever you go you can leave your pride and joy in the bottom of the wardrobe.....
well I think he can actually
he should just turn up at the airport with them
and um say we said he could
Don't forget to take your medication with you when you fly.
He's been medicated, NoM ( suspended ).
I think he might be back. Disguised as a Glaswegian.
There are a few more on here who should join him.
How very dare ye!
I'll call the nurse, NoM.
