I'm thinking of leaving BT broadband for Talk Talk broadband.
Have any of you guys any experience with them and if so what are your opinions?
Thanks in advance
I've been with them for many years and had no problems that were down to them.
Whichever ISP you look for reviews/opinions on you will find people who found it useless.
What's the saying?....out of the frying-pan etc....
There's more to a good broadband deal than the lowest price you can get...Which? Recommended Providers are Zen Internet, Utility Warehouse and John Lewis Broadband (I'm with JL). At the very bottom of the table is TalkTalk with BT one place above. So, you could be even worse off!
been with them for years no problem with them here either i get the usual 10mbs download which is all i need for my laptop and streaming movies to tv (netflix amazon sony ) i dont use the landline prefer the mobe its a lot cheaper so " approx " £22.50 per month
im with them i get 37mb fibre, never had a problem, depends on how far away you are from the exchange box, i think their the green boxes
you see bt working on somtimes ?
i would say though, if your going to go with them, to say you dont want their youview box but only phone and broadband and no extra phone addons like international calling unless you actually use it, it's like they will tack on thing you do not need, well i dont use them, thye are good at selling you things you do not need, so be firm, and say ill give you £20 a month for just phone and internet, let them talk the talk, but do not go over £25..!
Been with them for 8 years and they're fine. I have Broadband and Landline with any time calls including mobile calls for £27.95.
Fender never had them trying to sell me stuff, I never speak to them.
ladybirder, my contract was coming to an end with talktalk, so i thought id have a go at any discount i may get, as iv been with them since they started, i pay £25 and that includes a sim for my spare mobile that gives me mmm 500 free minutes and x texts and data
that i never use anyway, free minutes is good though.
ladybirder, i was reading on moneysavingexpert how to haggle with isp's, so i did just that, i was put through to their retention's dept
i wrote down a few tips that i read about before and made that call.
