Tablet Unable To Connect.

Hello all, I have just had my modem replaced by my provider. My smart tv,phone and laptop connect via WiFi no problem, however my tablet refuses to connect althought password is correct. Have noticed this takes forever when charging, is it time to scrap it?

Not sure of model but is an Acer WiFi only, was free gift as part of a promotion.

you arent using BT wifi by any chance?

Thanks all, am with Virgin, everything else connects. Have looked at link suggested no joy. Will get another cheap one. Just liked it for catching up on BBC I Player radio 4 at night. Thanks again.

if you cannot get it to work, take it to cash generator or cex, and sell it
or try resetting it to factory defaults, and trying again

For some reason it is now connecting. Strange,thanks for suggestions.
