Yes, spraypaint the windows late at night.
Yes!!
Went to buy some solar lighting yesterday but there wasn't any in the shop as they were stocking the shelves for Christmas! Yes, I do think it is a bit early. They should at least wait until the summer months are over.
hang on until november and you'll be able to get your christmas and easter cards in one go
Just bought some treacle toffee ;0)
That's the thing about retailers, no idea how to run their businesses, sometimes for more than a hundred years, without input from their occasional customer in for a browse and a moan.
I would hope most of the calendars on sale in the shops are for next year - a few of this years kept for late starters.

You can buy Christmas Cards and other festive stuff all year round - great for spreading the cost.
Send very, very few Christmas cards and bought mine in the January sales. Cheapskate!
Ive not seen any christmas cards in the shops yet. As long as the customers buy them early the shops will put them out early, same as the tins of quality street
, etc
Oh God not already !!!
Next week, if last year was anything too go by, my local COOP will have boxes of Mince Pies in, with a sell-by date of early October !

You can buy mince pies all year round. It's only the packaging that changes.
We hear this every year. You'd think we'd be used to it by now.
It's just shocking that moans about early availability of Christmas items come earlier each year.
Don't often agree with Naomi!
it probably helps people on restricted/limited funds to spread it so come the season of (ahem) goodwill, there's loads of goodies for friends/family to enjoy
Has anybody done a survey on how many 'early Christmas' moaners are also petrol station shoppers on Christmas eve cos it all crept up on them? :)
Mikey, mince pies are not only for Christmas.
