My husband is divorced, and when he left his house, he signed to be the guarantor of the his ex wifes' mortgage, as she only works part time

Before they divorced they re- mortgaged, to get some improvements done, and as a result of this, he also pays her an extra amount of money per month along with the maintenance, to cover this re mortgage amount.

She is now selling the property, and will combine the sale of her house with the sale of her mothers, so they can take the children and move to Cornwall.

Will my husband still have to pay this extra amount per month, and will he still be the guarantor for the mortage also?

He will not be a guarantor again without having to sign some documentation.

With regard the extra amount, that really depends on the divorce terms.
