Not Sure If Right Catogery
10 Answers
Yesterday someone had used my bank card to pay for a hotel in Edinburgh. That has left me considerably overdrawn. Immediately contacted my bank and blocked my card and reported it as fraud. I rang said hotel in edinburgh and they immediately refunded my money. They told me it would be in straight away however it is still not been put back into.my account. I was just wondering if refunds took longer to clear.

The guy on the phone told me did i want to cancel the fraud claim, as I was at work I didnt fully understand the question I thought he meant the fraud investigation. So I said yes. Couple of hours later that money that was refunded was taken back. I rang my bank and they explained it, even though I was at work before when I inadvertently ended the claim, the guy didnt tell me any of what was said to me when I rang back. They said they will go back and review it and more than likely will give me the money back. In you guys experience do you reckon I will get back my money? The guy talking to me before said that it will go down as a mistakenly ended claim and should have no problem
