I stood for the National Anthem when I was at the London Olympics, as I did for every other country's anthem. I don't believe in God, nor am I a monarchist.
I always feel a bit emotional when our anthem is played for a British winner. It's not about patriotism for me, more about the sacrifices that have gone into getting the victory.
