"you seem to pour scorn on the idea that there should be more than two identity genders."
I am not sure that anyone is "pouring scorn" over that statement, as they are just questioning it....as i am.
I will agree to 3 genders....identified by chromosomes which at the present time is the accepted method.
1) XX is female
2)XY which is male
3) abnormalities of sex chromosomes, identified by established medical syndromes...eg Turners Syndrome and Klinefelters Syndrome.
These medical abnormalities of the sex chromosomes are relatively rare.
As far as i know, the transgender has no scientific abnormality to back up there evidence of a NEW gender......I may well be wrong....however, the diagnosis resting on "personal feelings."
I am not disregarding anecdotal evidence as i am indeed a supporter, but to divert the socio-educational-legal platform to support this hypothesis, is, at the present time.......curious.

I have merely quickly scanned through this thread and read a lot of sense and considerable claptrap. I have noted that one poster has stated that Religion should Not be brought into the workplace, but has refrained from advocating that there should Not be any Faith Schools.
Incidentally, if I were only allowed one vote and had to nominate a sensible poster, it would go to Minty.
Hans.

I'm with Gness on this, the World turns a new day dawns - if I don't understand something people will explain if asked kindly.
I meet, greet and treat people politely, it's really easy to do.
Not sure someone advocating 'Bullying happens, get over it' in relation to this thread is candidate for best anything personally.

I was at a family party a couple of years ago......one relative told me...
"You have a great deal to thank your Mum for, Gness.....I really don't know why you're not fond of her.....
She did treat you badly, we saw that....she threw you out at fifteen and I now know what she did to you when you tried to tell her about J sexually abusing you when you were little....
But she's made you the person you are.....you're strong and confident......you should be grateful to her really"
Some of the answers here tell me that children should be thankful and grateful for being bullied or abused..... :-(

I'm sure Louis Theroux's programme "Transgender Kids" on TV this evening will throw some light on the matter for those interested in finding out more.

Issues are getting even worse if the Sun Newspaper's front page story is correct. I only heard a snippet on the radio this morning and it appears that children as young as two are going to have Nursery Classes featuring songs with words such as......'The skirt of the Drag Queen goes swish, swish, swish'.
