It seems everyone lived happily ever after apart from poor old Mrs. Bast. Couldn't Henry at least have let her have the Granny Annexe?

How old was Tibby supposed to be Mikey, he looked about twelve but was drinking and smoking?
It was very different and a bit off the wall but I think that's why I enjoyed it so much.

I think Tibby was about 15/16 in the first episode.
The difficulty with this is the book itself....definitely odd with an even odder set of characters.
Also, we should not forget the mores of the age....this was an Edwardian novel, written by a Victorian man. People probably did act and speak like that.

I kept with it hoping it would improve but it didn't; the ending was a huge anticlimax. It is so strange how we have interpreted it differently isn't it. All I could think when street scenes were played was 'I wonder how much has this all cost' and 'How have they obliterated the yellow lines on the roads'!!!!
