just picking up on Blyss thread about the said mentioned above, it is clear that '' The thing'' is idolised by some on this site.

I am not one of these fans, and can't stand the bloke.

I can't believe people on here are soooooooo in love with him, are some of you present or ex druggies. this is not a personal dig at people that do have a ''REAL DRUG PROBLEM'' the majority of people that dappled in drugs do it because they believe it is socially exceptable, and i'm being one of the lads.

So my question is,

Has pete doherty got an illness{might have now} or was it as i suspect like the majority of other users, self inflicted.

Apologies once again if i have upset anyone, this is not my intention.

i just think condemning users is counterproductive.they need positive help.and when they feel they are understood it makes them feel theres hope.i just feel you cant completely understand the whole story from observing from the outside.i am gonna finally leave it at that

i just saw the jonathan ross show with pete doherty on and i could never ever see what kate moss saw in this guy. After the show i could see. His personality has been burnt out by the drugs but WHAT a sweet caring young man. If he wasn't a heroin addict and i stree the word WAS then he could have been something special. I mean he is the first person to give jonathan a pressie. It was a picture of himself and the lyrics to one of his songs and it said 'jonathan and family...love pete' or something like that so don't slate the lad he just took the wrong path.x
