Although I think it was tabled and won on the back of career politicians having a hissy fit and thinking they could push their own agendas, I also think it makes a clean break Brexit more likely.
How many MPs and ardent Europhiles Remainers, of any persuasion, will think ((a minimum of)) £39b + all the other add on costs and the extautionate cost of the sheitiest trade deal possible is worth a yes vote?
The trade deal will be looked at in minute detail and the pros and cons worked out in ever decreasing and widening circles. And although there will inevitably be conflicting opinion it will be a loud shout that if the MPs look to be ratifying a sheit deal they will be lynched and they know it.
