Belly button piercing...

Hi, I'm 12 and going to be 13 in a few days, I really want my belly pierced and I'm aloud, theres just one incy wincy problem... All of my friends say im too thin to have it done, but i don't thnk i am ... Please help..?xx

Unless your friends are actually qualified to do piercings,which i doubt,then ask someone who knows,ask the guy/gal who does piercings,BUT be careful,and look after it!!

Don't do it! It will be a nuisance to look after, especially so in hot weather.

As you are still growing you will have to have it done several times.

And you will just look like everybody else. :(

I got mine done over ten years ago & I still like it. I was a skinny teenager & was never told I might be too thin to have it done. Xx

You are way too young ~ still growing, therefore as Ethel says it will grow over and you will have to have it done several times. It's not worth it...wait a few more years!

Well I will say first that I don't think being real thin would be an issue at all, but perhapts the age factor would be. I am SURE you have heard this all before, but bare with me here. Since you are 13 your tastes and feelings about self identity are Constantly changing. What seems to be the fad thing may seem kinda stupid in a few years. Why do you want to have it done? I can't have imagined that would even have been on my mind until I was at least 16?!?!?!
