Saturday. Cloudy this morning, but calm and dry, as in not raining. That'll do for this time of year.

Going to the Farmer's Market in Stroud today. I'll drop in on a friend on the way home and scrounge a cuppa. I haven't seen them for a while, I hope I'll still be welcome!

That pile of ironing still hasn't gone away, I suppose I'll just have to get on with it.

We're great thanks. I've had a good long sleep. I woke briefly at 01:15 but managed to get straight back off again. Happy days!

I wish I could find time to go to the Farmers' Market today but I still haven't packed my bag for the hospital yet. We've decided to make batches of soup and other meals to freeze down to ease my domestic burden when the mini me arrives.

I've also got to make a trifle for Christmas Day and stuff some dates with walnuts and cover them in chocolate - my contribution to the big day.

I gave it up too wbm but it has a habit of finding its way back when my routine gets interrupted .
