At the beginning of November, I had a letter from BT, telling me that the prices were going up slightly, but that they were increasing my broadband speed.
At the moment, I am getting about 45Mbps, which is fine, but the letter said that I could get up to 76Mbps, by the end of the year.
But still nothing yet....anybody in the same boat ?
LOL! That one says my download speed is 55.4Mbps, speedtest.net suggests 113Mbps whereas btwholesale guesses 25.4Mbps.
However, I'm paying Virgin for up to 200Mbps! If I complained to them that my broadband was slow having "tested" it using an online speed "test" website, they'd just laugh.
Don't understand the numbers but grandson just checked my speed and it is 95.3 Download, 13.62 Uploand and 9 Ping. Does that make sense and if so is it good?
BB...it depends on your connection. Through a telephone line, 95.3 is amazing. But if its by Virgin cable, not so good. But whoever is supplying it, its more than adequate.
