How much will this hurt?

I'm thinking of getting a tattoo of some lilys on my side, so it goes from my armpit to my hip. I have a few other tattoos, so I know they hurt, obviously. I've got them on my arm, wrist, back, hip and ankles (that was a killer - a cover up, and on the bone!!).

Any opinions from other people on how much it hurts to get one on your ribs? I know it hurts in different places for different people, but just a rough idea would be cool.

It's not going to stop me getting it, I just want to be prepared!!

The tattoo sounds absolutely beautiful, so, providing your nerves havent been affected there, and no sharp pains, meaning they're under attack....
When was the last time you had a tattoo done?... and no!!! i'm not being a kill joy lol....

THE worst place to have a tattoo is on the soles of your feet... so, anywhere else is just pain... put up with the pain and go get the tat done...

Beryllium, you clearly remember things I've posted in the past, thanks so much!! No pains in my ribs at the moment. In fact, more pins and needles and numbness, so that might make it easier.

It's so beautiful. The stem is really delicate, and then there are two open lilys, and one closed. They are for my husband and me, and the closed one is for the children we hope to have one day soon. They guy is an amazing artist, and will do it without any black lines, so it will be really feminine.

I last had tattoos done a couple of months ago, but they were just for fun and this one is for a purpose, otherwise I wouldn't get them so close together.
