I always use a lot of them. and I buy the packs of 100 each time.
If you send a lot of christmas cards and can afford to do so, now is the time to buy your stamps for them. mad as it may seem. I use a lot of stamps for birthday, anniversary and get well cards

You are right. I bought a very nice box of 10 Xmas cards for 99p. It cost me 65p to post each one.

But don't forget, this only applies to stamps marked "1st" and "2nd". Stamps marked with a monetary value don't benefit.

PS About 6 months ago I found a book of 1st class stamps which I'd bought on a trip back from France - so over 3 yrs. old. Quite a saving. :)

Why do people get so grumpy about stamps? Largely we have a choice to post a letter/card etc. There are also ways of buying discounted stamps.
To post a letter from the south of England and have it delivered in a day or two for pennies is a bargain in my book.

I seldom buy stamps, but if a first class was to go to even £1, I wouldn't grumble.

I would grumble if I was a postie tho, heavy weight and up n down stairs to deliver the post can't be fun
