Guilbert's snide comment was uncalled for, the question is 'when does Easter begin?', not when is Easter Sunday. I would say that the start of Easter is debatable, Lent started on the day after Pancake Tuesday and for many is a preparation for Easter, mirroring the 40 days in the wilderness, so that could be taken as the start of Easter. For others it's Good Friday as has been said, breaking up from school for the younger ones is another possible answer.
