When I was a young lad in the 1940s I remember my mother and her neighbors running a Ménage I think it was called everyone paid 10 shillings for 20 weeks and every one had a week when they collected £10, I just wonder when this stopped,it wouldn’t be because things are better now because we didn’t have food banks or people begging in our city streets so I wonder why this ménage stopped

♥ Tony :) Why do you never talk to me on FB?
~Baths~
I seem to have probs with FB, Baths.
Otherwise I would talk your head off ;-)
Think I will let you have my email...I'll try and get it to you on FB tomorrow ;)

Tony...did ya know FB likes Chrome much more than IE?
Righto, Baths thanks.
G'night, off up the wooden hill now.
Ah, maybe I'll give FB a try on Chrome then, bATHS.

Hi Baths,
Sorry I missed you! Glad you enjoyed the film, I'm sure it'll come back to you.
I regularly attend the local Odeon(usually twice/thrice weekly) as I've got the Limitless card but don't bother to review or post about anything I've seen anymore because there are so few on here who read them or bother to go to the flicks nowadays anyway.
I, Tonya wasn't bad, Red Sparrow is good(but don't expect an action film in the style of Jason Bourne, it's all about the plot), The Shape of Water was excellent, as was 3 Billboards. Game Night was laugh out loud funny and I'm looking forward to Gringo. Also, check on YouTube the trailer for I Feel Pretty, looks a great comedy.
Saw Lady Bird yesterday and was expecting a bit more, never quite took off for me.
Hopefully catch up with you soon.
I was an avid cinema-goer in my teens but haven't been to a cinema since 1979 when I went to see The Life of Brian.
I can't stand the noise folk make at the cinema and the smells from the feasts some feel necessary to watch a film..as for the prices ...well ..Much prefer to find films on internet these days, all the current ones are there for free
Hey Chilldoubt. Hope you come back here....film was 12 Years a Slave! I'm pretty sure of that!
