Sista was here from 1-7pm. All throughout the day she said my neighbour was playing Irish music then irish singers, then ballads, then country music. He must be playing old musicals. Me - well he probably has Netflix and we went on and on and etc etc (I couldn't hear it) . Then she pointed to a certain area in the living room where the music was coming from. God it's going on a long time - like 6 hours.

On our way out giving her a lift. She pointed to my radio which I thought I had turned off - it was on extremely low the whole time. i think it was putting her nuts in the end LOL

we have two types of deafness in our house my husband has a high frequency deafness, and i have a lower frequency deafness in one ear. It drives me mad he can't hear the oven alarm, or his bloody watch that beeps every hour, and he gets annoyed when i cant hear the alexa alarm, or when the radio has been left on.

that's why we men get free prescriptions, bus passes etc and NHS facilities, other than dental, women complaining that, over 50, we must be deaf and, on that basis, how we qualify, tony. Take full advantage of it.
