I really don't like what is going on with the scripts at the moment.
I've watched from the first episode and can't believe the deterioration of the scripts.

It is a wonder that the PC brigade haven't been round to tidy up a few things.

Like why is the mixed race child always the one to cause trouble plus why have the Eastern European Meekats cats made such a mess of Coronation street, it was once a tidy street until they came along.

I just wish the plots weren't totally driven by (a) 180 degree personality changes and (b) coincidence. I can suspend disbelief to a certain degree but recent storylines stretch credulity too far.

What I can't understand is how come Eva hasn't mentioned her pregnancy for a couple of weeks now and when is she going to start showing ??? Also, isn't she supposed to be giving it to Toyah ???

The scripts are dire. I am really surprised at Eileen!! The script writers change the characters so readily.

Peter doesn't know about the surrogate losing the baby but surely he wonders why she hasn't been to see them. Then when Eva has the baby surely she will have to have a Birth Certificate ..Things will get very messy with this storyline.
I did wonder about Hope .

I did query the Anna/Seb storyline. How could she have got through two locked doors and into the office ?Why didn't her Defence lawyer ask this in court?

My wife watched 'Corrie' from the very first episode but stopped watching this soap when it became Eastenders Mark II about 7/8 years ago.
