Logging Into Amazon Website

Does anyone else have trouble every time they try to log into Amazon? First of all, they always tell me my password is incorrect but when I put it in again they accept it, then there's this clat of typing in weird numbers and letters and then they send a passcode to your e-mail address just to confirm you are who you say you are. I usually give up and buy the item elsewhere.

I have never had any trouble logging in, but the trouble that I have is that when I come to log out, although I hover my mouse over the right area the drop down list fails to appear.
