When I go to control panel and click on the D drive- to play a CD, I get this message:

"This file does not have a programme associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel"

It never used to say this. Any idea how I can just get my CD to play??!

Sometimes things 'just happen' on PC's . However, its sounds like it does not know what to use to play your music. You need to do something like, right click the CD icon or file/folder whatever and link the file to play with Windows Media player or itunes or whatever...that should stop the problem.

I am no expert, so I dont gaurantee a result, but give it a go...cant hurt
