Were other viewers as disgusted as I was with sporrans made from roadkill?I thought it was in very bad taste showing how it was done with the animals.I have seen many sporrans but never any with animal heads on, how revolting!I'd be interested in other viewers reactions.

They look blooming awful to me, but as they're not being specifically killed to make into fashionable objects I don't have a problem with it. Fur farming is more offensive to my taste.

I don't think the Meat is left in the Sporran Palustris tbh.

We often do, easy enough to tell. If the pheasant is uncrushed then it is safe to eat. Last one we had was still warm,it had broken its neck trying to beat up a car.
Rabbits are a bit different, most of the road kill here is down to Myxy, so definitely not edible.
the cats enjoyed the hare. they do not seem to mind the broken bits of bone.

Jourdain2 - my mum had a black fur collar that looked a bit foxy but other people wore what looked like a real animal,,I was a bit little to tell if they were real or not, but I know I thought they were creepy! I agree roadkill can be quite edibble, though I wouldn't eat rabbit. But the thought of my husband with a dead animal over the family jewels would give me the heebies! Thanks for all the feedback peeps!
