what can be done to relieve the pain of wisom teeth coming through, my boyfriend's in agony!

he could try the things used for babies like bonjela or teetha crystals (herbal)

I'm having the very same pain today!

Get some Liquid Anbesol.

It's like a more 'grown-up' version of teething gel. (Either that or babies have a higher pain threshold than me!)

make an appointment at the dentist let them sort it out or you could try tooth ache tinture bit like cloves and rub that on

Ah thank goodness for that.

I have the same requirements as an infant in the pain department... would hate to think i was being out done!

(It's also used for denture pain, apparently... that delight is yet to come, perhaps...)

Rinse with hottish salt water as well - it numbs the gums. And make an appointment at the dentists pronto and get em whipped out.

very interesting thread as ive got to have two wisdom teeth out on wed, how much is it gonna hurt :~( ?
and can you buy bonjela in bulk?

sophie - anadin extra, but make sure he dosent suffer with stomach ulcers ( you can't take these if you do) best to read the leaflet alway's, but I find they do the trick!!

Froggo - make sure you dose up on some very strong painkillers (Nurofen plus were the best for me) and as you might look a bit puffy for a couple of days afterwards I'd recommend you avoid work for a bit....

thanks all! he has the dentist today so hopefully theyll be able to help! I did offer to get him some teething gel but he didnt want any...typical man, complains hes in pain then wont do anything about it!
