In the end I had it done with just the freezing spray.
The girl found where I was bleeding from, and took some biopsies. Now the wait to see the consultant, which could take a good few weeks.
It was horrendous, (probably my own fault for being so stressed about it) but at least we now know why I am so flipping anaemic.

Derekpara, I was sedated and had the banana throat spray! I would do the same again. I'm always very anxious. Didn't mind the throat spray. The nurse couldn't understand It! Lol..

Thanks, Patsy. Yes, my two downwards endoscopies were b...y awful at the time - non-stop gagging etc so this time I think I will go for the knockout drops.

Thinking about it the nurses were also there to hold you down , in case you started panic and move about :-)

I'm sure they were Bazile, and they were needed, could have done with a couple more for my feet,they told me I was running a marathon down that end.

I did have some answers on AB about why I had to keep them on, Ferlew.......but none fitted with the type of shoes I was wearing......x
