How Bizarre.

OH and I were just having a conversation about this coming Christmas and what we think we should spend on Jnr, who will be just over 10 months by then. I'm personally of the belief we should put the money in his Junior ISA instead.
He then asked me what I would want, if I could choose anything. When I told him a thatched cottage, a range rover and a Kenwood Chef he simply told me he would buy me a "Unique Horn" instead. I mean, I'm really not musical if you get my drift. Odd, or what?
So... what's the strangest thing anyone's ever bought you and what would be 1, 2 and 3 on your wish list of material presents?

Parents give babies something that makes the parents happy; babies are easily pleased, and neither know nor care about Christmas. Save the debate for the following year, when he'll have an inkling what's going on.
By all means set up an investment for them. But the best gift I got - and jno jnr after me - was that my parents taught me to read, well before I started school. Takes time and effort and certainly isn't just for Christmas, but it's set both of us up for life.

Weirdest thing I was ever bought was a ballroom dancing dress by someone I hardly know who thought I should take up ballroom dancing (and presumably lose weight too because it didn't fit either) :/ Weird and awkward as hell that was.
Material gifts... I'm ambivalent about most material things as I have what I want fortunately, but it would be these if I could have anything...
1. D type Jaguar ( such a beautiful design).
2. A private Island with a large funky house on it I could furnish and design the whole island to my whim.
3. Helicopter ( to get to private Island).

Not Christmas, but Mr F once bought me a trailer load of manure for our anniversary, (I had asked for it, we had bought some land that subsequently was turned into a very productive veggie garden.
A birthday gift that year was a lorry load of grit, and to top it all, a potting shed.
The only thing I would really hanker after, is a summer house type building that I could put all my crafting stuff in. (Heated and double glazed of course).
